Imua University was created during the 2020 pandemic initially to help Hawaii’s economy turn around by providing education, jobs and technology to the islands.
Many learning institutions provide an online learning environment, what makes Imua University unique is that our Imua Learning System (ILS) does not require a constant high speed internet connection. Additionally, it is typical for universities to have a placement center. Imua University is a division of CIWRX which has a constant need for skilled workers. CIWRX provides government and businesses services including ones related to technology. We hire students who have passed our training.
Imua Learning System
ILS is a platform that includes lessons, testing facilities, ability to communicate with instructors and other students, a Learning Management System (LMS), and a library of educational material. Students who have been accepted to the university receive a computer and an external drive. When students bootup the computer on the external drive, they have access to the ILS. Students are required to periodically (usually at a minimum once every 2 weeks) connect to the Internet. The ILS automatically detects the connection and synchronizes messages, updated lessons, test and quiz results, and updated learning material.
